Metaxia is an architect, urban researcher, and educator holding a PhD from ETH Zurich in Landscape and Urban Studies. In her dissertation «ARCADIA Politics of Land and Nature - From peripheralisation to extended citizenship» she explores processes of extended urbanisation at the depopulating mountainous regions of Arcadia in Greece.
