Book launch: "Entmietet und verdrängt"
Book launch on September 15 at ZAZ Bellerive. The qualitative study, set in the Swiss Mittelland, provides multi-layered insights into the reality of life of displaced tenants. The focus is on the perspectives of those affected and how they deal with the (imminent) loss of housing.
For all those who live in a tenancy, it can suddenly happen very quickly: a letter from the property management containing the termination due to structural upgrading and/or densification. Tenants are forced to move out due to demolition or redevelopment, or even to leave the neighborhood in order to find affordable housing.
How do those affected deal with this? The HSLU and we cordially invite you to the book vernissage:
