How do families live after separation and divorce? Participants wanted

The SNSF Sinergia «Family Custody Arrangements and Child Well-Being in Switzerland» (FamyCH) is looking for interested families to participate in the study.

Living together as a family is becoming increasingly diverse, partly due to separation or divorce and the associated forms of housing. Since the end of 2023, a team led by architect and professor Elli Mosayebi at ETH Zurich has been investigating the influence of housing on the well-being of children after parental separation. This research is part of an interdisciplinary project by the Universities of Lausanne, Neuchâtel and ETH Zurich, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (2023-2027), which is taking a comprehensive look at child welfare in post-separation families.
In addition to a nationwide survey, the sub-study on housing conditions, architecture and mobility focuses on intensive studies of families with children aged 7 to 14 whose parents have been separated for at least one year.
