Intergenerational co-housing in a long-term perspective - project documentation

Generational living is a very important topic nowadays. But what distinguishes housing projects that consciously want to promote and shape intergenerational relationships? And what can we learn when we look at the development of completely different housing projects in the whole range from the process of creation to the organizational characteristics to structural peculiarities, the social composition and the promotion of neighborhood relations?

This booklet documents 19 selected housing projects in Switzerland with regard to these questions and undertakes an initial reflection. It presents a rich sample of contemporary forms of intergenerational housing and a diversity of approaches. The booklet is the result of module 2 of the practice-oriented research project "Intergenerational co-housing in a long-term perspective".
