Feasibility study in the Liechtenstein municipalities of Triesenberg, Triesen, Schellenberg and Vaduz in cooperation with Sano AG

Top priority for the projects in the communities of Liechtenstein: Direct sensitisation and dialogue with the population on the subject of living as independently as possible in old age and suitable forms of housing for the respective community. In the feasibility study for four locations in the four municipalities, the topics of barrier free access - social - safe should always remain the focus of attention.

The effects of demographic change will become increasingly important in the coming years and present the public sector in Liechtenstein with major challenges. The nursing and care services in Liechtenstein are well developed. On the other hand, there is no sufficient offer for ageing at home, which offers possibilities between living at home and in a nursing home. In this context, it is therefore important to clarify which variants are possible in order to ensure a largely independent life even in old age.

Involvement of the population
The project will be presented to the population in a public event with an impulse lecture and concrete sketches. This is followed by a survey of the population 55+. The municipalities choose whether this is done in writing or by telephone. This will be followed by a further sensitisation event at which the survey results and further steps will be presented. Possible forms of organisation and financing will also be discussed with the population involved.
