Athena Lecture Series

The ETH Wohnforum - ETH CASE, in collaboration with the Parity and Diversity Group of the D-ARCH, organizes a lecture series featuring internationally recognized female designers and scientists from the fields of urban studies, architecture, urban design, urban planning and landscape architecture.
The international ATHENA Lecture Series has been inviting outstanding junior and senior female scholars, educators, and architects to the D-ARCH since 2020, providing students and staff the opportunity to engage in discussions with them. By bringing the brightest critical minds, the most dedicated speakers, and inspiring personalities to ETH Hönggerberg, we aim to stimulate critical thinking, initiate conversations, and foster ideas.
During their lectures, the invited guests present their scientific and creative research in a public presentation, followed by a moderated discussion open to all.
The ATHENA lectures are made possible through financial support from ETH Zurich (Presidency) and D-ARCH.
