The city of Zurich is growing. It is forecast that the population of the city on the Limmat will increase by around 80,000 by 2040, and by over a quarter of a million in the canton. How can the creation of sufficient living space be ensured for all population groups in the future? Dealing with the existing stock plays a decisive role in this.

The webinar examines the long-term handling of housing stock in its multi-perspectivity and includes questions of urban planning, architecture, housing strategy and social policy. A topic that will continue to gain relevance in the future. Together with our guests, we will discuss the challenges that arise in planning and for the development of the stocks in order to reconcile housing and social policy as well as resource-saving goals.

In conversation will be Dr. Angelus Eisinger, Director Planning Umbrella Association RZU and Prof. Ute Schneider, Professor of Urban Planning TU Vienna with Dr. Marie Glaser and Prof. Hubert Klumpner, ETH Wohnforum - ETH CASE.

The event is free of charge and will take place online via ZOOM.
