Network Age - Housing - Environment

The research network was born out of the CTI project "Housing in the second half of life"

The research network "Alter - Wohnen – Umwelt“ ("Age - housing - environment") was born out of the CTI project “Wohnen in der zweiten Lebenshälfte” ("Housing in the second half of life") in 2006. The network is composed of representatives of 24 organisations who unite around the theme of housing for the elderly. It includes organisations who work on a federal level with questions of housing for the elderly, representatives of interest organisations both on the local and the national level, technical colleges, as well as representatives of public, private and not-for-profit investors. The members of the network convene on a biannual basis during a half- or full-day workshop. The workshops are organised around different themes concerning the current challenges of what it means to provide housing for the elderly. ETH Wohnforum – ETH CASE coordinates the network activities.
