Jugendjobbörse Winterthur - project documentation
The idea is simple: young people want to earn their own pocket money and many, especially older people, would often be happy to receive small assistance in everyday life. A youth job exchange brings both together. But how can a job exchange be organized? What are the success factors and challenges? And how is the generational dialogue lived?
Angela Birrer and Eveline Althaushave pursued these questions in a research project and discuss them in the attached report on the Winterthur Youth Job Exchange (only in german available).
It becomes clear that lessons can be learned from the Winterthur experience for the development of other projects - and corresponding recommendations for action can be derived.
