City of short distances called for
The Liberals see a city of short distances as the solution. In the motion, Hug refers to the concept of the “10-minute neighborhood” by ETH lecturer Sibylle Wälty. This postulates that everything that is needed in everyday life should be located within a radius of 500 meters: Homes, workplaces, stores, restaurants or leisure facilities. And good access to public transport.
